An agricultural expert enrolled in the Registries of Agriculturalists and Graduate Agriculturalists of the provinces of Alessandria, Asti, Cuneo, Turin and Aosta, he has always cultivated the subject of wine and alcoholic beverage regulation. He is the author of the volumes “Presentazione e Designazione dei Mosti e dei Vini“ and “Piemonte Vigneto Tutto DOC”. He joined the Central Inspectorate for Quality Protection and Agri-food Fraud Repression (ICQRF) of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry in 1979. Until 2017, he was head of the Asti Area Office of the ICQRF and from 2017 to 2020 he was acting director of the same office. From 1999 to 2015 he was a lecturer in wine legislation within the Master in Oenology at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, in Piacenza, and from 2017 to 2019 he was a lecturer in wine legislation within the ‘Mastro di Cantina’ course at the ‘V. Luparia’ Institute for Agriculture. Since 2023 he has been of counsel at LJLex Studio Legale.
